The Mask,,,,,

We were born and given a name, Ahmed, Mohammed, Fatima are fame.
We cruse life proud of our identity, and the sweetest thing is the sound of our names and dignity.
Yet we come to EF with different form, hiding behind a mask of nicknames with different norm.

Is there anything wrong with whom we are? Why then we use nicknames different from our names by far?

Why we hide behind a mask, when we love our name recited after any task?
Why we are proud of our names in school, work, home? Yet we are ashamed to be known here and hide in shame?

Question swirl in my mind, and an answer I seek and hope to find.

When shall we take the mask away, and reveal our true self in a proud way?

Are we making wrong doing, that’s why we hope no one knowing?

Or is just we found the west using the fake name, and we decided to do the same?
